• Very very helpful and friendly staff. Good location only being a 5 minute walk to the train station, then about 12 minutes into Wellington. Very handy for the Westpac Stadium. Lodge was quiet, with parking. Would stay again, as the cafes and shopping nearby were fantastic. We walked everywhere.

• I had found this motel from Trip Adviser and chose it as it is close to where you catch the ferry to the South Island of New Zealand. We were directed to an RSL Club for a meal which was a reasonable price. The room was clean and modern and had all facilities we required. Staff were frinedly and helpful.

• Needed a cheap and cheerful place to stay with good connections to both Wellington and Upper and Lower Hutt. Don't be put off by the slightly industrial buildings around it, the Midway Pacifica is a great place to stay. Took about twenty minutes to get there from Wellington City Centre (rush hour meant fifteen of those minutes were in the city centre!). Room wasn't huge but had a Queen and a single bed - fine for my work colleague and me. Room was spotlessly clean, shower was hot and powerful, breakfast was great (and delivered to your room). Gail in reception was warm and welcoming and really helpful. In short, excellent value for money, and a very pleasant stay.

• “The friendliness and comfort .. was given a $10 internet voucher free, lovely snuggle rug on bed, xtra heater. Room was very spacious. Even tho it was so close to amenities, hwy and shopping it was very quiet and restfull. We will be staying here every trip now that we have found it. And have already recommended it to 2 other families.”
